Special terms and conditions (insurance, cancellation, penalties)

1. Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours before delivery: Full refund of the rental fee (excluding non-refundable payment gateway service fees).
  • Cancellation less than 48 hours before delivery: 50% of the total rent The cancellation fee will be deducted, and the remainder will be refunded.
  • No-Show at Check-in Time: Total rent amount It is deducted as a penalty and the contract is voided.
  • Early Return: You will not be entitled to reimbursement for the lost amount.

2. Customer Insurance Coverage and Financial Liability:

  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): This insurance covers damages resulting from accidents or theft, but the customer is responsible for the deductible. Franchise (deposit) specified in the contract (e.g., 300 to 10,000 euros).
  • Full Insurance / Zero Excess: This option Optional with an additional daily fee Available for purchase. If purchased, the deductible for collision and comprehensive coverage is reduced to zero.
  • Damages not covered (even with full coverage): The customer is in any event fully liable for the following damages:
    • Damage to the tires, windows (front and side), mirrors, and the car's floor.
    • Theft of personal belongings from inside a vehicle.
    • Damage resulting from driving under prohibited conditions (unauthorized dirt roads, crossing deep water).
    • Damage resulting from negligence or misuse (such as incorrect fuel, internal smoke damage).

3. Driving fines and fees:
The company assumes no liability for traffic fines (speeding, red light, etc.) issued for the rental vehicle during the contract period. All such fines are the customer's responsibility, and in addition to the fine amount, an administrative fee will also be charged to the customer.

4. Responsibility for items left in the vehicle:
The company is not responsible for personal items left in the returned vehicle. If they are found, the customer will be contacted and shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
